My name is Carmen and I am a HUD-approved housing counselor. You would be considered a candidate for a repayment plan if your hardship was temporary and you were able to resolve it. So if you were out of work for just a few months and now your income continues to be as highest as it used to be, that would be one of the criteria they would be looking for.
